v2 Bao

Ingredients

  • 250g v2mince
  • 1 ½ tablespoons hoisin sauce
  • ½ teaspoon chilli flakes
  • ½ teaspoon ground coriander
  • ½ teaspoon ground ginger
  • 2 garlic cloves, crushed
  • ½ tablespoon sweet chilli sauce
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • 1 cucumber, julienned
  • 1 carrot, julienned
  • 1 red chilli, finely sliced

Instructions

Step 1

Add all ingredients except the oil into a large bowl and mix until combined. Season with salt and pepper.

Step 2

Line a tray with baking paper. Roll mince mixture into small balls and flatten. Place in the fridge for 10 minutes to chill.

Step 3

Heat oil in a large frying pan over medium-high heat. Fry the patties for 2 mins each side or until golden and cooked through.

Step 4

Serve with steamed bao buns and your favourite filings. We recommend thinly sliced cucumbers, shredded carrot, small slices of chilli, and coriander.
